Junior JavaScript Frontend Developer

As a Junior JavaScript Frontend Developer, you will work closely with our senior developers, designers, and product team to build and enhance web applications. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining front-end components, ensuring a smooth user experience, and learning best practices along the way. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of JavaScript and a willingness to learn React.js and modern frontend development tools.

Requirements

  • Some experience with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3 (projects, internships, coursework, etc.).


  • Basic understanding of responsive design principles.


  • Familiarity with React.js (or willingness to learn).


  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.


  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and accept feedback to improve skills.


  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.


  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.


Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, or any other modern JavaScript framework.


  • Basic understanding of CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.


  • Some experience working with RESTful APIs.


  • Exposure to TypeScript is a plus.


  • Knowledge of frontend development tools (e.g., Webpack, NPM).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.


  • Implement responsive user interfaces that function across various devices and browsers.


  • Work with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional, interactive web pages.


  • Participate in code reviews, learning from feedback and improving coding skills.


  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate frontend components with backend services.


  • Debug issues and troubleshoot bugs in the codebase.


  • Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.
