Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to guide and coach our Agile teams, ensuring that they work efficiently and deliver high-quality products. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate all Agile ceremonies, remove obstacles, and ensure adherence to Scrum principles. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and the development team to maximize productivity and continuously improve team performance. Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.


  • Agile expertise: Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and a proven track record of applying these frameworks in real-world environments.


  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is required.


  • Facilitation skills: Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to lead productive meetings and resolve conflicts.


  • Problem-solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, fostering a solutions-oriented mindset within the team.


  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical team members.


  • Team player: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to different team dynamics.


  • Analytical skills: Ability to use metrics and data to drive team performance improvements.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.


  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.


  • Coach Agile practices: Educate and coach the team on Agile principles, Scrum best practices, and the importance of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.


  • Remove obstacles: Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the development team’s progress, ensuring the team remains focused on sprint goals.


  • Sprint planning: Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is properly prioritized, user stories are well-defined, and the team understands sprint objectives.


  • Promote team accountability: Encourage a culture of accountability, ensuring the team is committed to delivering high-quality work within sprint timelines.


  • Foster collaboration: Promote open communication between team members, product owners, and stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment.


  • Monitor progress: Track and communicate sprint progress using key metrics such as burndown charts, velocity, and other Agile reporting tools.


  • Support continuous improvement: Lead retrospective sessions, help identify areas for improvement, and implement actionable steps to improve team performance.


  • Shield the team: Protect the development team from external interruptions and distractions, ensuring they can focus on delivering product features.
