Product Owner
We are looking for an organized and motivated Product Owner to join our agile development team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between the business and the development team, defining and prioritizing product features to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs. As a Product Owner, you will own the product backlog, lead sprint planning, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, impactful products.
Requirements
Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile software development environment.
Agile expertise: Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum) and experience working closely with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
Product backlog management: Proven ability to create and manage a product backlog, with experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
Technical understanding: Familiarity with software development processes and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with development teams.
Problem-solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize information, and identify creative solutions that deliver value to customers.
Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product goals, priorities, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Customer focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into actionable product features.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification is a plus.
Experience using product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Confluence.
Responsibilities
Product backlog ownership: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are clearly defined and aligned with the product vision.
Sprint planning: Collaborate with the Scrum Master and development team to plan sprints, define sprint goals, and ensure the delivery of high-value features.
Requirements gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and other product teams, to understand needs and translate them into actionable product features.
User story creation: Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria that provide the development team with everything they need to deliver features.
Stakeholder communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product development updates, timelines, and priorities.
Product vision: Work with the Product Manager to align on the overall product vision and strategy, ensuring that the development team is focused on delivering value that aligns with business goals.
Feedback integration: Continuously gather feedback from stakeholders, users, and the development team to refine the product and prioritize the most impactful improvements.
Progress tracking: Monitor the progress of the development team against the product roadmap, identifying any blockers or risks and addressing them as needed.
